Waikato Draught was first brewed in the 1920's and has been the beer of the Waikato region ever since. Waikato Draught is fermented at a much higher temperature than other beers, plus has a special aromatic hop resulting in a complex fruity, hoppy and spicy aroma. The strong maltiness finishes with a well defined bitterness. It has a smooth and clean texture, and a hoppy and spicy aroma.

This strong golden ale has a smoky character more akin to Islay Whisky than any beer you've tried before. Heavily peated golden ale.
